DSSSB is inviting online applications on behalf of District and Sessions Courts from Indian nationals for two Group C posts: Sweeper / Safai Karamchari (Post Code 46/26) and Chowkidar (Post Code 47/26).

4. Qualification Eligibility

Out of the total vacancies, 1 post for each of the two posts (2 in total) is included for Ex-Servicemen (ESM). PwBD and MSP vacancies are 0.

5. Age Limit

Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years but should not have attained the age of 27 years as on 01.06.2026. The candidate must be born not earlier than 02.06.1999 and not later than 01.06.2008.

Date of birth as recorded in the Matriculation / Secondary School Examination Certificate will be accepted for age eligibility. Only OBC (Delhi) candidates will get the OBC benefit; OBC (Outside) candidates are treated as Unreserved.

7. Selection Process

• Selection will be made through an Objective Test (MCQ) and an Interview.
• The Objective / MCQ Test is of 100 marks with four subjects of 25 questions (25 marks) each: English, Hindi, General Knowledge (including Current Affairs) and Arithmetic.
• Duration of the exam is 120 minutes (160 minutes for PwD candidates).
• The exam is bilingual (English and Hindi), except the English and Hindi language questions.
• Each question carries 1 mark, and there is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
• Minimum qualifying marks in the MCQ exam: 50% for UR / EWS and 45% for OBC (Delhi) / SC / ST / PH (PwBD) / ESM.
• The number of candidates called for interview will be a maximum of 10 times the total vacancies.
• The interview is of 15 marks and will be conducted by the O/o Ld. Principal District & Sessions Judge (HQs). There is no minimum qualifying mark in the interview.
• The final selection will be based on marks secured in the MCQ exam and the interview. The final merit list will be prepared by the District and Sessions Courts, Tis Hazari, Delhi.
• Skill Test / Endurance Test / Driving Test will be taken as per the requirement of the job.
• If marks are equal, the older candidate is placed higher; if the date of birth is also the same, the candidate whose first name comes first alphabetically is placed higher.

8. Important Documents

Documents are not listed in one place in the notification. Candidates should keep the following ready, as the notification mentions registration details, certificates in support of claims and an e-dossier at a later stage:

• Matriculation / Class 10 certificate and marksheet (also used for date of birth)
• Photo identity proof (PAN Card / Voter ID Card / Driving License / Passport), or Aadhaar number, for registration
• Recent clear colour photograph with plain white or off-white background, and signature
• Category certificates, if applicable: OBC (Delhi) certificate with OBC Non-Creamy Layer certificate issued on or after 01/04/2026, SC / ST certificate, EWS Income and Asset certificate valid for FY 2026-27, PwBD certificate, Ex-Servicemen documents
• A valid and active email ID and mobile number

How to Apply

• Register on the DSSSB portal https://dsssbonline.nic.in using "Click for New Registration". Registration is a one-time exercise. Candidates already registered can use their existing login.
• Log in and fill the online application form for the post code you want to apply for.
• Check all details carefully before submitting, as no change or correction is allowed after final submission.
• Pay the fee (if applicable) through SBI e-pay and take a printout of the application for your records.
• Only one application is allowed for each post code.

10. Application fee

• Application Fee: Rs. 100
• Exempted Categories: Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, PwBD and Ex-Serviceman categories are exempted from paying the application fee.
• Ex-Servicemen who have already secured regular civil employment under the Central Government / Government of NCT of Delhi or its Autonomous / Local Bodies after availing reservation benefits are not eligible for fee concession.
• Mode of Payment: Only through SBI e-pay. Other modes of payment will not be accepted.
• Application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
