Only candidates who are domicile of Uttar Pradesh can apply against reserved posts. Candidates from other states can apply only against Unreserved (UR) vacancies.
Age Limit
For all posts, the candidate must have completed 18 years of age and must not be more than 40 years of age as on the last date of submission of applications.
Age Relaxation
- SC / ST / OBC and other such categories of Uttar Pradesh: relaxation of up to 5 years as per Uttar Pradesh Government orders.
- Permanent government employees with at least 3 years of regular and continuous service in the concerned field: up to 5 years.
- Physically handicapped candidates (General category): up to 5 years for Group-B posts and 10 years for Group-C posts.
- Physically handicapped candidates (OBC, SC, ST): up to 10 years for Group-B posts and 15 years for Group-C posts.
- Ex-servicemen and dependents of Freedom Fighters: as per rules of the Government of India.

Selection Process
- The selection process has two stages: Screening Examination and Main Examination. Both exams are Computer Based Tests in Hindi and English.
- Screening Examination is only for qualifying to appear in the Main Examination. Its marks are not counted in the final selection.
- Only 10 times the number of advertised posts in each category, from candidates who get the minimum qualifying marks, will be called for the Main Examination.
- Both exams have 100 marks, 2 hours duration and only multiple choice questions (MCQs): 60 marks for the subject related to the post, 10 marks for General English, 10 marks for General Knowledge, 10 marks for Reasoning and 10 marks for Mathematical Aptitude.
- Each correct answer carries 1 mark and 0.25 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.
- Minimum qualifying marks are 50% for Unreserved and EWS candidates, and 40% for SC, ST, OBC and PwD candidates.
- A Skill Test will be held after the Main Examination wherever required, such as for the Stenographer post. Candidates equal to five times the number of posts in each category will be shortlisted for the Stenography / Typing Test (English and Hindi typing in Mangal or Krutidev 10 font). The Skill Test is only qualifying in nature.
- Final selection and merit list will be prepared category-wise on the basis of marks obtained in the Main Examination only.
- In case of a tie, the order is: total marks, older date of birth, fewer wrong answers or negative marks, higher marks in the core section, and earlier application number.
- Selected candidates must be declared medically fit in the pre-employment medical examination before joining.
- Hall tickets can be downloaded from the website www.drrmlims.ac.in. Exam date, time and venue will be provided on the admit card.
